Sekou K. Rameses (fka Elridge E. Glasford) was born in Nevis, Caribbean, on July 4, 1953. He attended Malcolm King College in Harlem, New York, where he earned an associate degree in business administration. He later earned his bachelor’s degree.
Sekou K. Rameses has written and read poetry since the early 1970s. He is the author of “The Door Within,” a collection of ideas and thoughts. He has traveled to Africa and has visited the pyramids with renowned African American Egyptologists and scholars of African history. He is also a former member of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilization.
