About This Item
Oswald “Ozzie” Tyson was born in 1959 on Nevis. He survived the sinking of the ferryboat Christena at the age of 11, losing his mother, two younger brothers, a half-sister, and several cousins. These events are documented in his book Ozzie’s Odyssey. He lived on St. Croix for several years and spent some time in the States before returning to live full-time on Nevis.
